3i Straight Edge Geometry

In this class, we will use two basic geometric tools, the compass and straight edge, to create beautiful geometric drawings. Through these drawings, we will explore a wide variety of geometric concepts that appear in high school-level geometry. This class is *drawing only*, and does not require any previous math experience. Each week, we will work on several drawings, and students will have the opportunity to embellish their drawings during class and at home between classes. I will provide all the geometry tools needed, and the students may want to bring any art materials they would like to have available, such as colored pencils, markers, etc.
