When working with leather, children learn various valuable skills, including fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, patience, problem-solving, creativity, and attention to detail. They also develop perseverance through working with a tough material, learn basic math skills for measuring, gain confidence from completing projects, and build an appreciation for craftsmanship by understanding how handmade items are created.
